A new book just out attempts to pull the covers from some abuse that one dance minister alleges can and does occur within our dance ministries.
"Diary of a Broken Praise Dancer," by Aries Winans, is her personal account of dance ministry and homosexuality.
"(Diary of a Broken Praise Dancer") is my account of going from being on fire for the Lord and dancing for Him, to becoming rebellious, following my own desires, moving out of state to help another dance ministry, being 'raped' by that dance ministry leader, then living a double-life while STILL dancing in ministry.
"The end result was me fighting for my life and running back to the Lord with all I had. My book speaks to what goes on in the ministry of the arts everyday, but few speak out about it. The Lord is able to deliver and set us free, completely. But we must speak out. This isn't an easy process, but well worth it.
"Prayerfully, my story will help many others to realize that the God we serve is greater than any prideful person, any lust demon, any bondage the enemy would try to keep us in and he is MORE than able to heal us and deliver us."
His Hem Ministry has not yet read or reviewed the book, which is available online from Amazon ($13.99).
